Hello all….I have been away for a few days. I attempted to take a end-of the summer vacation. We shared a place down in Newport Coast Villas for the week with family friends. But between football, taekwondo and guitar lessons…I found myself back at home nearly every day at some point. It was not what I had in mind! But the kids had a great time, and the last few days were fun because the ‘men’ (aka husbands) joined us. On one of the last nights we all went to Joe’s Crab Shack. And Jack was able to cross off on his ‘list of things to do very soon’…#27 “Try eating crab”.
So here are a few shots to give you an idea of how this went down…and yes there was a funny bib involved. And this is Jack’s face when I said the last time he had a bib on he was drooling and asking for more baby food…he was clearly not amused at the reference to his ‘early years’.
We bought Jack a shirt to celebrate the night and it says “Peace, Love and Crabs”….it was far better choice than the one he really wanted….. it said “Bite Me”. I won’t embarrass him any further and show you the video of him and Tucker dancing with the entire restaurant to ‘Shake your groove thing’ while the disco balls overhead were spinning. Hey man, this is was great night. Oh and I certainly won’t tell you about the $3 Pineapple Mojitos. Yeah, you are lucky I wasn’t the one up there dancing on the bar. Maybe next time……you, know when I take you there.
