Wow. I think we existed in parallel universes, either that or I was in your dance class. I was more likely to sport the ever-popular color combination of the day: pink and grey. Honestly, there’s no better look on a washed-out, dishwater blond than a nice pale color combo like that. At least you had the sense to go bright.

I think the official word for that look you’re sporting is “bershon.” Google it, or do a flickr search for it.

Hi Marcy!! I finally, finally, FINALLY updated my blog feed and your new site is on there, and I just did some catch-up reading.
I LOVE the red tights and micky sweat shirt and the hair (had that same cut) and that LOOK (still giving it myself)!!! This was a fun post. It’s inspired me to reach back into my yesteryears and post about them soon myself.

I had the bright purple/fushia version of those tights, the same sweatshirt, but my tap shoes were black instead.

Love this! Where to begin? The sweatshirt and red tights put you in the top fashion class of the time. You didn’t mention the leg warmers but I guess we really don’t need to do we?
