I went to my ‘happy place’ today (Downtown Orange Circle). And I saw (go clockwise k?)
- An alley with an unphotographic shadow.
- Foghorn Leghorn on a glass that was once a jelly jar. Minnie was there too- but I see her all the time.
- A time travel barbershop, complete with the red/white spinning pole thingie.
- A pirate from the actual one and only Pirates of the Caribbean ride (cast off from recent remodel)
- A fish that- even though the sign says otherwise- looked pretty darn dead to me.
- And a little piece of my childhood. Remember Emmy Jo and Doug? And yes I can still sing the song to the show.

I want to go next time! I grew up in Orange-haven’t been there except to drive through-in years. *sigh*
TAKE ME WITH YOU! (And then we’ll go have crab and mojitos.)
It’s always fun with you!
I don’t remember half of that stuff…I think I’m much too young and vibrant…was there a glass with a Real World cast member on it?? That’s a little more my generation. ;)
Orange Circle looks like my kinda place! It’s fathers Day in Australia today. I just went to USA Foods with my son. Came back with Milk Duds, salt water taffy, large bottle of Welchs grape juice and some Hersheys Pieces. Yummmm!
red/white spinning pole thingie = barber shop pole ;)
