I found your blog form Rocks In My Dryer. I too had a baby that could hit far away moving objects with projectile vomit. We refered to him for a year as “the broken baby.” as for the Halloween costume I bought it last year on the close out sale after the holiday- of course he is currently 17 months old and can’t vote on what he wants to dress up as. I am sure in the future I won’t have that luxury.

we’ve just gone to the party store. my kids drove me so insane, i had a meltdown and we left without costumes. how’s that for a nightmare on elm street?

i think this year, if they keep this up, they’ll be themselves. scary enough on some days.

The Evil Genius wants to be a ghost – score! I bought two yards of 108-inch wide bleached muslin and all I have to do is make with the scissors. Dodged another costume bullet…whew.

Oh, and? I saw Winter Holiday (aka Christmas) decorations out last week at a local store. Aaaargh!!

I bought Ganon’s costume last December at Toys-R-Us for like 2 dollars. It is his first so I don’t think he will mind.

I hate bloody, ugly costumes for kids, too! Kids are already aware of the murders, rapes, shootings,& torture that happens every day, even those who aren’t allowed to watch “scary” movies or the nightly news. We protect them as much as we can…but then on Halloween: we CELEBRATE gore, murder, violence, and death!
And we let our other-wise protected children do it too! I don’t get it!!
