“You pick up the phone one day and your husband says ‘honey, the company wants me to move to _______.” In most cases the first reaction is ‘hell no-heck no and NO WAY’. You give reasons that seem concrete “but we just got the yard re-done! but Billy likes his pre-school! But I can’t move away from my parents!”…..and you are met with either silence or facts about the new location. After a few weeks- it becomes a reality, and believe it or not and against your protests you are INDEED MOVING. In your heart you know this is best for your husbands career and ultimately best for your whole family. And when you are SAHM you really can’t use the argument ‘but my work is here’. Nope. YOUR work is wherever your family lives. And that family is MOVING. So accept it. And get busy…you have a lot to do.”

Actually I’m quite the opposite I’d be happy to move, for us it’s a great way to see the country in all it’s beauty and if it’s going to help us then sure I’d be all for it.
I hate moving. That is a really good to do list for the horrible project of picking up your whole life and moving it elsewhere.
I swear I will never move again the rest of my life. I hate it so much.
