Yo Betty Crocker- you rock!

I came accros a fun little product and I wanted to share. It is Betty Crocker ‘Warm Delights’…of course I don’t think Betty has ever really steered me wrong. I picked these little individual cake mixes the other day for an after school snack (yeah I am cool mom like that). Having boys I have learned that stirring gooey stuff is one of their favorite pastimes (think slime, mud etc) and if it is chocolate AND they get to eat it  afterwards-well, then it is HEAVEN. But being that I am no June Cleaver (sorry Holly) they are not getting a lot of chances to bake REAL cakes these days. So I thought this would have to do. And It could not be easier.
1. Open package
2. Add water
3. Stir gooey goodness
4. Explain to younger brother not to eat the batter until it is cooked
5. Microwave for one minute
6. Marvel at your results

The thing is…these little cakes taste AMAZING.
Way bettter than any easy bake oven ever made. And just as easy!

(Photo note: I realize my kids look like they are dressed for some Christmas photo shoot. Pay no attention…I was not on my fashion game today. Heck I was baking people. I can’t do it ALL)

I was not paid in anyway for this product endorsement! But Betty if you are reading feel free to send me a case of these will ya?

One of my relatives was a Betty Crocker back in the…umm…before I was born?? I adore Betty and all of her I’m-in-a-hurry-or-I-can’t-bake-worth-a-damn goodness.

I wonder if that product has yet made it across the border. I’ll have to check.

Sound right up my alley. I don’t THINK I could screw these up: maybe.

I’m glad you told us you weren’t paid to promote this. I wouldn’t have tried it otherwise.

If it’s that good…. I just might.

Sometimes though, too easy is a problem. Thanks for making it easier to sin, Marcy.

I have had these! I love them. I admit, I have had them because I am no June Cleaver either. Thanks for the shout out!

I would not have tried them but you sold me. My 12 year old chef will love this! Talk about comfort food!!

Now that we know the boys’ outfits are always well planned and perfectly coordinated, it’s obvious that you are totally ordering your family photo Christmas card already. You obviously can’t top those pictures!
