I think it’s fine. If he’s really interested, you would be wise to just teach him about gun safety in case he ever comes across guns somewhere (like playing at a friend’s house). Any shooting range will have a “gun safety class” that will last about 2-3 hours and teach all about guns, how to handle them, etc. and will end with some time on the firing range shooting the gun. Then, if he ever encounters a gun, he will respect it, know what to do, and will be far less likely to have a deadly accident. Just a thought…since he is obviously very curious about guns.
