Sometimes I wonder if the rest of the world works with the same dictionary that I do. For instance, this lovely sign advertising that these ‘Fur-Real’ pets ‘Actually BREATHE’. Really? They breathe? Do they take air, oxygen, etc., into the lungs and expel it; inhale and exhale; and respire?(dictionary.com) WELL, I DON’T THINK SO. You know I have a thing for animatronic dogs (remember THIS?), so I considered bringing one of these home to freak out the husband who is heartless anti-pet of any kind. But alas, I did not. I am holding out for the real thing. The kind of cat that is alive and well, the kind that actually breathes.

That’s tooooooo funny!!
Have a Great Thanksgiving:-)
They’re cute aren’t they? We bought one for my daughter a few months back.
The word “actually” has become a filler word, like “like” or “you know. It actually doesn’t mean anything anymore.
I saw these at the Swapmeet, they actually creeped-me-out.
Have a VERY happy Thanksgiving my friend.

Now here is a good spot for those much-maligned inappropriate quotation marks.
We “actually” breathe!
Maybe they are “virtual” breathers? Ah, toys have gotten too complicated.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Hmm, if we’re adjusting the meaning of actually then. . .
I actually dust.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
I know where you can get a kitty that a) IS real and b) ISN’T breathing.
Hubby’s happy, you’re happy. Can I put you down for two?
; )
