I got the same e-mail from Miss Nik, and I think it’s a great idea. However, I will add this: “Choose wisely, because if you give me bad suggestions my default will be cartoon underwear, which fits the bill for all categories, sort of.”

My kids sliced and diced it to their liking as well. Maddy said, “I want a Nintendo DS. So if I get that, then I’m going to NEED a game to play on it, otherwise there’s no point. Or maybe that could be my ‘to read’ because of the instructions?”

I like the idea too. Of course, kids get the “want” and “need” notion mixed up. “Mom! I really NEED this new WII game!!”

I love the idea of this, but I would have to set dollar limits on the want, need, and wear!
