Welcome to a new mini-series on Swedish Rock Bands. I was recently sent a link to a site (thank you Sarah!) with the mother load of comedy…and now I plan to share one a week with you. It is my comedic duty.
I don’t know what was going on in Sweden during this period…but it looks like a lot of inbreeding if you ask me.
Presenting “Tellys” or possibly “Jellus” or even maybe “Tellus”….I just don’t translate groovy font too well.
You gotta love how the featured guy, the guy who made it in the middle of this cover, looks darn near like the cave-man dudes from the insurance commercials. And um, that is WITHOUT makeup. Poor Andreas….and I imagine this was his best year too. Benny must have been the dumb one, but had the great hair. You know how groupies love a good wave in the hair. From the look of things Jens was stoned and couldn’t stop cracking up at the photographer. Which pissed Magnus off to no end. Sture was thinking ‘I am so out of here as soon as we get a #1 hit. I know ABBA will be calling any day now’.
But it is the title of their album that really attracted me. “Kum loss me uss”….which translates* into “Kim lost my ass”, or possibly “Kam lost me bus”……classics no? Man I would love to HEAR these guys play. Do you think they are still touring?

You know? I am thinking had I been my age (37) in the 70s? I could have actually been hot back then. Looks like anyone could be a star!
And I claim Jens. Jens and Jen… we could have married and had little Jenettes! Maybe formed our own family band and traveled around… BUT, by the looks of him? A total Ozzy right now. He would yell “JEEEEEEEEN!” and then say “Whu?” How confusing that would have been for him.
Yes, I think the proper order of things has come to pass, regardless of what might have been.

I can’t stop laughing at this. Are they the pathetic Swedish version of the Monkees? Old men playing a young man’s game? I read the title as “come lose your ass.” Maybe there are porn stars?
Oh my gosh…I’ve been lurking for a month or two but I had to comment after this post. IT IS HISTERICAL! :) I cannot stop giggling and every time I look at this, I laugh out loud. Thank you SO MUCH for this great new mini-series!!!!
iOh my god. This debunks the myth about all Swedes being attractive. They are downright disturbing in the looks department. Maybe they make up for it with their voices…kind of find that hard to believe.
