The fun of the Bloggy Blind Date….

In part of my year-long personal challenge to partake in Extreme Social Sports….I went on another blind ‘bloggy-date’ today with none other that Headless Mom from The Adventures of the Headless Family. And although he blog name suggests they are a group of maimed super heroes, I was pleasantly relieved to discover she does indeed have a head. Which is good- cuz otherwise this could have been a really awkward lunch. I gotta tell you these bloggy-dates are exhilarating, fun and at the same time very strange. You are ‘meeting’ someone  for the first time that you basically already KNOW. It was lots of fun and lots of laughs, the only bad part is she and her Headless brood live just a little too far away from me to see more often. I mean I can’t exactly call her up and say “grab your head and meet me for coffee” just for the heck of it, since she is about 45 minutes away. But I am sure we will make the effort to get together again.

So like all good bloggers we attempted to capture the meeting with a photo. Using the tried and true method of squishing our heads together and holding the camera out in front of us….and sadly THIS was the best photo we got. I know I look a little drunk…..but that has nothing to do with lunch. I swear.
