How would you like to Print AND Prosper? (give-away)

GIVE-AWAY CONTEST IS CLOSED! Thanks to all for entering!!! Winner will be announced Monday May 11th!!!!

Good Monday Morning to you-how about I give away something?

Recently some of you may have heard me Tweet about the fact that I went to the office supply store and spent $50 on ink for my HP printer and $50 on a leather office chair. The ink will last me about 3 months, and the chair has a 10 YEAR warranty! And that was what got me thinking….there has to be a better way. I looked into the ink cartridge re-fills but frankly they looking messy and difficult. (I could see great ink stains on me if I even tried) So last week when I got a Kodak Esp 7 all-in-one printer for my boys computer upstairs I was very excited. I wanted this particular printer for several reasons; one because it has WiFi technology which meant I could put this printer ANYWHERE and it no longer had to stay within a cord length of the desk top, and secondly because of the amazing cost savings of the ink. After only 5 minutes of install I was printing from the boys computer and from my office down stairs. I may or may not have even  printed out a letter to the boys which told them to stop playing computer games and brush their teeth! On top of the cool WiFi feature it is fast, clear and quiet. Combine that with Kodak photo paper and it made for some beautiful results.

Curious how much a Kodak printer could save you on your ink annually? Visit here. There is a fancy program that can calculate the savings based on your current printer.

Even more curious and are wishing there was some way to get a fabulous Kodak ESP7 Printer for yourself? Do one or ALL of the following before Saturday, May 9th. (Winner will be announced May 11th 2009)….

I’d use it on storage items to hold all of the fun play/learning materials I’d be printing. :)

Okay, I know it might sound boring but I’d put the extra savings in my savings. That’s something I need to get better about doing. I cut money out from a lot of things. Love to figure out ways to save. But then I just spend it on…well, Starbucks. Or things like that as opposed to taking what I save and putting it away for a rainy day. A little bit here, and a little bit there adds up eventually, you know? And ink can get expensive when we print so many pictures around here!

Jesica May 6, 2009 at 7:46 pm

Some new jeans AND new shoes – or just one REALLY nice pair of either. Here’s hoping I win!

Tiaras & Tantrums May 6, 2009 at 8:14 pm

I would save about $153 a year if I switched from my Epson printer – more photo paper for me!!!!!!!!! Because I really don’t print as many photos as I want to b/c the ink is so expensive!

Heather @ Mama Sass May 6, 2009 at 8:33 pm

What would I do? Probably put it towards a new laptop! That would rock!

Lee of MWOB May 7, 2009 at 8:06 am

Okay – I just tweeted this killer giveaway but I really don’t want too many people to enter because I want to win! :-) But really – I do hope it is a huge success.

Musings from Me May 8, 2009 at 6:19 am

Sadly my printer is such a dinosaur that it is not on the print and prosper list. The printer is functioning but eats ink and continually resets itself. Kind of like my GPS when I get lost only without the cute voice and with lots of clicking and clacking.

Woudl also love to go to BlogHer! When I started blogging in the fall I had never heard of Blogher. Well, now I want to go where all the cool and of course Glamorous girls are playing.

Phyllis@Aimless Conversation May 8, 2009 at 10:14 am

I would probably divert the money to more homeschooling stuff for the kids, or for more $$ to go thrift store shopping, or maybe for a manicure and pedicure a couple times a year. Hmm, mommy time. Sounds wonderful.

You are now in my Google Reader!

Nicole (SAHM Reviews) May 8, 2009 at 6:47 pm

I would spend the money at garage sales. With two growing girls, it’s the only way to not go in debt on clothes!

Lisa @ Crazy Adventures in Parenting May 8, 2009 at 9:10 pm

I’d start putting it towards debt, so we can get out of it sooner and start saving for a house when my husband gets out of the military.

Katie May 9, 2009 at 10:28 am

I would save the extra money for future expenses and use the printer (I don’t have one) to help launch a career at home since I recently found out my job is ending.
