I am all caught up.

We are closing in on the play-offs for my son’s AA Little League team. And while he consistantly plays a mean second base, he has had his eye on being the catcher. So a few weeks ago, the coach started training him and he loved every minute of it. On this particular practice, he worked HARD in all that equipment, in 100 degree heat for 3 hours straight. He has commitment and dedication like I have never seen before. He is like a little bulldog. Once he decides he is going to be the best. He works at it, until HE IS.

He did tons of this…

And lots of this…

And when it was over? A whole lot of THIS.

Have I mentioned how much I love this kid?

Stinky baseball clothes and all.

So they can still fall asleep anywhere, any time, in any position when they’re older? I LOVE it — SO sweet!

Definitely want Sparky to marry Tucker. Is he spoken for?

Catcher is the most cerebral position in the game, I hear. Doesn’t surprise me one bit. Yay Tucker.

What a cutie…and I love a kid with that kind of determination. I’ve been blessed with one of those myself. :-)

Cool. Catchers rock.

And lucky for you. We don’t even start playoffs until June.

Ugh.

That last picture is priceless! I agree, catchers rock. My Wasabi Girl plays catcher too. Hot work.
