Yorba Linda, California

After a long walk in a dry-lake bed, we came to this small hill.

I looked up and saw this power pole standing tall and brave against the ceiling of clouds hovering above.

I clicked. And I smiled. Because I knew this was the shot waiting for me to take that day.

So pretty, Marcy! This is the part of OC people don’t see. I love it!

Sometimes you know the SWF-shot even before you take it!

Very nice altocumulus and it´s almost similar to mine.

Lovely, agree with Suz, that this is the OC that should be seen, not those plastic women from Coto on TV.

What a great photo. Truly stunning!! Where is the YL dry-lake bed?

I think this is called a buttermilk sky in cowboy country, right? You can be an OC cowgirl now, right up there with your OC hog farmer status. You are DOUBLE glamorous.

I once applied for a job in Yorba Linda, but didn’t get it. Beautiful dappled sky. I invite you to come fly through my sucker holes in Coastal BC. – Margy
