Oh yeah. My kids started school this week. I know I whined sentimentally about it here, I never really posted about it with PHOTOS. And I think we all know there are a few posts you will lose your Blogger Union card if you don’t do them every swingin year…and the back-to-school post with lots of photos is one of them. (others include but not limited to “Why I love my husband” on your 10th anniversary, “Why my husband pisses me off” the next day, “Meet our new Pet”, “My life this week in Tweets from Twitter” and “What I am wearing to BlogHer”).
So here are some photos to fulfill my obligation.
Kids were sportin some new stuff and some old stuff (you know to look ‘cool’ and not like you bought new ‘school clothes’). And both carried their killer Old Navy lunch sacks..which amazingly both came home the first day. As Jack walked his brother into class before we headed over the Middle School I heard him giving pointers on how to get to the front of the lunch line on pizza day. But the best moment of the morning had to be Tucker, just totally on his own, shaking hands as he introduced himself to his new teacher. He is like a little congressman. Or slick con-man. Hard to tell which way he will go…
So the next day I took a photo too. Just cuz….
And then the following day I TRIED to get another photo of them. But Jack was sick of this by now, and boycotted. So instead I got Tucker sportin his new favorite Old Navy “Off the Hook” (with a fish on it) Tee. And for some reason he wanted to pose like Magellan conquering the rock in front of our porch. Sure kid. Whatever.
And the next day? (I was going for the whole week of Massura boy fashion) I couldn’t get either of them to come out front.
Union work is hard.
I am calling my Union Rep.

I remember doing this when my 19 year old twins started school…each year. I have 2 entire shoe boxes filled with back to school pics. Can you imagine what that would have been like had blogging been around back then.
Kinda makes me scared of what it’s gonna be like when Gaby starts real school and not just Montessori! *lol*
Not only are your boys good sports, they are adorable!
Oh man Marcy, this is fantastic!!!
“Blogger Union”. You are spot-on with the topics. So funny!
Them boys is real cute.
No wonder I’m failing as a blogger — I forgot to join the union! Oh man, will two guys named Vito be knocking on my door anytime soon?
