AlbumTalk: Joyce

Sometimes I would PAY MONEY to be able to hear these ~~bad~~ albums be played.

I suspect there was more than one song on this album about being an under appreciated secretary in a man’s world.

And possibly one about cross dressing.

Robert M April 27, 2010 at 2:47 am: Ohmigod (literally!) That’s Joyce Landorf! From Pomona, Calif. She was a (relatively) famous Gospel singer, who went into motivational Christian speaking in her later life, I believe. I played guitar and bass in a group she and her church sponsored when I was in college (mid 1960’s). Pretty cool lady – quite a showperson – it made me regret I hadn’t taken up a life in showbiz. Fun but the oinly impact was, instead of performing I became a teacher.
