I dig this time of year because I stupidly sign up to go to every swinging holiday themed event because I am so excited about Christmas that I forget about the shopping, the packing and all the other stress that I will be in the depths of come mid December. And yet…I press on. I am such a trooper. But I did want to mention two upcoming OC events that I think a lot of you will enjoy
Disney on Ice
Dec 17-Jan 10~Los Angeles, Anaheim, Ontario and Long Beach
I love this because well…I don’t think there is going to be one Santa or elf or mistletoe in whole thing.
It will be an evening out that will let me STOP thinking about the holidays for a minute and just enjoy my family.
Well that and fairies, Cars and Lion Kings skating around. Awesome.
And I got a glamorous deal for you too…
Visit Ticketmaster and enter the secret code MOM to receive 4 tickets for $44 (or $4 off single weekend tix)
Skating Disney Fairies. Does it get any better?
And now to something that is VERY Christmas. Something that makes the season complete. No, I am not talking about spiked Eggnog you lush. I am talking about The Nutcracker.
And I know about a great performance coming up right in Orange County:
Maple Conservatory of Dance / Northwood Performing Arts Theater in Irvine on 12/19-12/22
So make some calls, and make some plans to make this holiday season all about fairies and nutcrackers.
(Keep the jokes to yourself please. This is a family blog. Jeez)

Dear Marcy, I love you and I’m sorry we did not connect at Disney. Please love me back.
PS Thanks for the discount code
PS I think I’ll have to take a girl’s trip to your town in 2010, sound good?
What? Did I miss something? What kinds of jokes could I make about skating Disney fairies and nutcrackers? I don’t get it.
Couldn’t you have posted this *before* I bought our tickets??? Ugg, I also got a coupon in the mail the DAY AFTER I bought them. I swear I have the worst luck!
Would you please share the discount code for the upcoming Nutcracker perfomance. Would be greatly appreciated-)
