So my mom tried to dis me in the comments below.
Suddenly not claiming the turq/blue tree we had as a kid…so Mom? I give you exhibit A thru D…and even I totally forgot about the blue/turq and PINK year.
We had the coolest tree AND our house Christmas lights MATCHED.
Which of course led to kids asking me if we were Jewish since we had blue lights on our house.
To which I would reply “they are blue AND green. Gaw…its FASHIONABLE. Jeez Louise…”
And because I got like seven a million emails from readers wanting to see my totally not at all famous Orange and Lime tree…here you go…

WOW. That was your tree growing up? It looks like it came from a magazine. What did your mom do with all the crappy kid made ornaments?…and let me guess it was blue because it matched the wallpaper???

Orange is my favorite color. Lime is high on the list. The tree rocks — and so did your mom’s trees.
Is it just me who thinks that it’s funny that people would ask if you’re Jewish because of the color of your CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS?! ;)
