CLEARLY you don’t go to Starbucks enough. Ordering there has become one of those things you just do and don’t question.

You know. Like putting a TREE in your house every winter. Can you give me a reason for that other than “it’s just what we do”?

Ha this is great! I had to make my trip to Starbucks a daily occurrence, so I would increase my comfort level. Now I’m ordering a grande white chocolate mocha non-fat half-caf no-whip… even if they didn’t do it right, I wouldn’t know the difference.

Never go to Starbucks unless I’m in San Clemente with my SIL. Then I am so intimidated that I order medium house coffee. I have no idea what it might be and don’t care. KEEP IT SIMPLE, DUDES. Also? I refuse to say “barrista.” I’m pretty sure that’s a lawyer in England, and I don’t need no steenkin’ lawyer making my coffee.

I think it’s funny that when I order my Medium Gingerbread Latte, they always ask, “Do you mean Grande?” I just look at them and ask, “Is that the medium? Then yes.”

I just order normally…I don’t have time to learn the jargon. If I am in need of coffee then that means at any moment I could snap and eat you because my mood has not leveled properly. Coffee is my life blood.

Hey I’m with you on the coffee-cup-size thing.

WOW. I just had a highly inappropriate thought. I wonder what it’d be like if Starbuck’s started marketing Bras.

The mind boggles.

Anyway back to what I was thinking .. I recall checking into the New York Hilton, many years ago. I had suitcase, on rollers, I’d been there many many times before and I didn’t need no stinkin’ bellhop. But they guy at the desk told me he’d call one regardless and wouldn’t give me the key. I told him to, twice, and he wouldn’t. So I told him this:

“Listen, sport: you … you’re an EXPENSE. ME? I am PROFIT. How high do you want to go with this?”

He gave me the key. I think the same thought’d work at Sbucks if they give me any lip whilst ordering a cuppa joe.
