Come on over and watch a little video about Watsons Drug Store in Orange, CA. It is one of the oldest businesses in Orange County- having being established in 1899 and still going strong. It’s a pharmacy, a soda fountain, a diner and so much more. I love this place because it is old, but also because it is a huge part of my personal history. My grandmother graduated from Orange High School in 1923 and in her diary she mentions stopping by Watsons before a school meeting. My parents also hung out there (ala Happy Days) while in high school together. And my dad would take ME there when we were nearby by for a malt shake and and a chat. And NOW? I take my boys there and they are going thru the array of vintage sodas one by one…..when I say this place is one of my favorites? I MEAN IT.
