Ironic.
After writing this personal and revealing post over at OCFamily.com, I am posting a photo of me in workout clothes.
Nothing more motivating than public humiliation I always say.
So here I am sporting workout clothes and my new Skeechers Shape Up shoes. (which they GAVE me at the recent OC Mom Blog brand event. Nice huh?)
And so I am testing them for the week.
And I fully expect to have this butt when it is all over.
Of course, right now, on Day 4 only my calves feel like they are getting a workout from these shoes
- which of course is the only place on my body that I was okay with….
Oh damn irony.

We went to Kennedy together, you were a year or so ahead of me so of course I was totally intimidated by you! But I just read your piece on OCFamily.com, if I was talented enough I could have written the same thing. You really touched a nerve. I love following your site and haven’t posted yet how funny and how much enjoyment I get out of follwing you. So great piece and for the record you look amazing!

I think you look great!!! :) I’m curious if the shoes really work…on body parts other than calves.
I have a friend who swears by those shoes. If you don’t find them to your liking, send them to me. I can’t justify spending a gazillion dollars on a pair of shoes. Especially since my gym membership is currently going mostly unused. :)
Well, ONE of my butts looks just like that. But they are in layers, cascading downwards and ever closer to my cankles.

My 7 year old was reading this over my shoulder and asked if that was me in the picture. I said no, to which she replied, “Well it looks a lot like you. Except her butt needs bigger underwear.”
