Two weeks or so ago my Empire of Awesome partner Andrea and I decided to do something big.
Like really really big.
We didn’t meet about it. We didn’t make graphs or research spreadsheets. Heck we didn’t even consider NOT doing it.
WE JUST DID IT.
And as of today, that idea is a reality.
Today is the launch date of SMARTLY; Geo-neutral (main) and Orange County.
In a few weeks Chicago and LA and soon after that? Silicon Valley, Minnesota, New York, San Diego, Atlanta, San Francisco and MORE.
So if you are looking for a website to give you one really great read each and everyday, with no brand pimping, vlogging or whrrling, on topics ranging from tech to nostalgia to parenting (and tons of other categories)…written by some of the best writers found on the internet (and in book stores) today…well, you will find it at Smartly.

Oh Marcy – nice work. I have kinda been slammed with all kinds of projects…mainly life ones. Not online ones. So I have been completely lame about responding to your kind request to jump into this awesome idea of Smartly. I am known to bite off more than I can chew….but I may just have to jump in to this slick new scene you have going on. Love the vibe of it all. I’ll be reading and checking it out!!!
