I have been more than a little busy this summer. I co-founded and launched the Smartly websites, created and launched the BlogCrush website (with my co-founder Suz), launched my MarcyDesigns business and I have some other hush-hush projects in the works as well. One of the big projects of the season has been creating and planning the 2nd annual Blogger Ball. And it all happens tomorrow night at Embassy Suites in Anaheim South. The event has grown this year to over 100 attendees and tickets went fast. We have wonderful brands such as Snapfish, Asics, Atwater, Fresh & Easy and many more who have donated to the raffle/door prizes and I am looking forward to a great night of networking and cocktailing. Sadly The Husband is out of town and can not make it. Which is only going to add fuel to the rumor that I don’t really have a husband at all or that he is in witness protection or something. But really I do…and he is in Indonesia this week. And while I had an entire year to get skinny find something awesome to wear host and MC this event, I didn’t. I ran up to a few stores yesterday and got a dress and a blouse and I still have no real idea what I am wearing. But it isn’t about that anyway….it is about networking with friends, giving away cool stuff to cool people and just enjoying life for the night. I know a lot people wanted to come, but couldn’t get a ticket and to them I say don’t worry. We have more BlogCrush events and goodness coming your way!

Looking forward to it, but still not sure what I’m wearing yet either. Maybe I’ll bring a couple outfits and pick one out as I’m walking down. I”m sure it will just as great as last years!

Can’t wait!!! Making the big drive this afternoon. I bought a new dress yesterday. I’m stumped on what shoes to wear. I want to wear big girl heals, but sensible mommy flats are calling to me. The 20-year-old me is screaming in horror right now.
