“My husband is cheating on me, my kids annoy me and no has invented the internet yet. So do you know why I am smiling?” she said.
This is Susan. And she sells her Tri-Chem pharmaceuticals door to door. Helping thousands of housewives learn to increase productivity while staving off depression about their lack of career options and never ending housework through the use of little blue pills.

Would that be the Daily Pill Carousel in her hands?
Oh My GOSH! My mom had these when I was growing up. I remember painting with them and playing in them when I wasn’t suppose to. I loved all the colors. I have been trying to remember the name of them for a while. They are tubes of paint that have a roller ball tip. You use them in place of embroidery on projects such as dish cloths and wall hangings. We made quilt squares with them too. In the picture you can see she painted her apron, table cloth and is demonstrating how to use them on flour sack dish cloths.
April – my sister had those too! I wanted to play with them but was banned from touching all her stuff b/c I was just the bratty little sister. :-)
Liquid embroidery! Oh my. Our next door neighbor had these when I was little, I was FASCINATED I tell you! My mom was always like, “uhm, no. You have markers.”
I loved doing trichem embry. So much so that I used to sell it. That was many years ago but I still have some pics in my home.
