For YEARS I have referred to my parent status in the following way “two shorter people call me Mom”. It was a subtle way to mention I was a mom, without saying MOMMY BLOGGER (my most hated thing ever)….as is seen here on my Twitter bio:
Well guess what? One of my kids had the nerve to grow up and totally mess up my bio tagline.
This kid is now officially TALLER THAN ME.
I am proud. Then annoyed. Then sad. Then proud again. I mean I made a human who is BIGGER than ME.
Of course if I wear heels I still can keep the status- so I plan to wear a lot of heels. Because this whole KIDS GROWING UP is annoying people.

My two older kids tower over me. I still had two little ones, but they are rapidly gaining on me. I like to remind them that I can still thump them. ;)
LOL I’m only about 2 inches away from being in your shoes and it is the weirdest feeling. Last year my 11 year old out grew me in shoe size which I knew was coming since dad wears a size 16 but now he’s got the nerve to nearly be as tall as me. At the rate my girls are growing I’ll be the shortest person in the family in less than 10 years.
